Precinct Boundary Manager

Precinct Boundary Manager is designed for effective management of voter-registration databases and spatial analysis of precinct boundary redistricting. It converts voters' addresses into a digital map depicting geographic patterns of voter distribution. Critical statistics of socio-demographic characteristics can be generated for precinct boundary analysis. Analytical tools are available for boundary redistricting based on legislative requirements.

Function:

PBM 1.0 provides the following functions for effective management of voter registration data and modification of precinct boundary.

• Import dBASE or ASCII files of voter-registration data.
• Geocode voter addresses to street maps, automatically or interactively.
• Compute voter statistics by precinct: frequency, gender, ethnicity, etc.
• Identify precincts that require boundary alteration, based on statistics.
• Modify precinct boundaries on street map, with reference of concerned district boundaries.
• Recalculate voter statistics automatically once boundaries are modified.
• Generate maps and statistics for multiple boundary plans.
• Generate address reference files by precinct.
• Conduct demographic analysis with census data.
