System Capacities

Our system is based on the calculation of GPS (Global Positioning System) data. During the race, the cars constantly transmit their exact positions. These transmissions are entered into a special computer system.

The system offers actual position on the track and actual speeds. It also calculates average speeds, total number of laps and total lap times.

Furthermore, the system transmits some data, which concern safety. This data will only be available for the teams, the owner of the racetrack and his security personnel.

Although our system has greater capabilities, as of this date not all cars are equipped with the system and not all teams are able to access the information. As such, we are not able to demonstrate all possible system capabilities.
